Elk next to the restaurant. We were almost charged by a bull at this very spot the next morning. We were minding our own business, thank you.

not just any geyser, this is Old Faithful. It's faithful in that a given eruption allows a prediction of how long it will be until the next one. It was pretty wimpy when we were there
