statistical physics, fractals, anomalous transport processes and
fractional kinetic equations, long-range correlated noises and
stochastic processes, phase transitions, theory of electrolytes.
Positions after Rice:
During 2003-2005 Vladimir was a postoc in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,
Department of Material Science & Engineering
In 2005 he joined Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University as a MBA student to study computational finance.
