Research interests:

1. theoretical biophysics, in particular burnt-bridge mechanism of motor protein transport
2. theoretical condensed matter physics, in particular critical phenomena and superconductivity (phase diagram and dynamical behavior of a Josephson array in a magnetic field, effects of disorder in superconductors, phase transitions of the flux lattices in layered superconductors driven by disorder and thermal fluctuations, phase transitions of the Kosterlitz-Thouless class, interacting quantum systems, percolation problem)
